Most of us are taking our last vacations before school starts.  I preach balance.  Wouldn’t you all agree that pretty much everything we do fun involves food? Is it a southern thing? or should I say thaaang?  🙂 So enjoy the life, make the memories,  live in the moment, and for goodness sake… EAT THE DESSERT! Balance it out by continuing to exercise and eat some healthy meals during the vacation.  For example, parking further out in the parking lot will require you to walk further to get to the entrance door and the same extra steps when it is time to go back to the car.  Those extra steps do make a difference!  It is the little things you do that make a BIG impact in that 24 hours. Every little extra step helps and counts toward balancing out caloric intake.
