DO YOU KNOW HOW TO

BIBLE JOURNAL?

Picture of Illuminated Scripture Journaling Set

I am super pumped about this boxed set of bound scripture being available at a super low price! If you know me, you know that I write and dream in color! I have been studying the Bible by the book this past year and finding I just don’t have enough room to write. My current Bible is hot pink. Yes, hot pink! I am known for using turquoise and hot pink pens to do most of my note taking. Bright colors help the words jump off the page for me. The color helps me memorize the scripture. Feeling the pages of the Bible in my hands also brings me great joy! I know that my Bibles will be left for my children and grandchildren.  My hope is they learn from them when the time comes, so writing all over the Bible for future-future use is always in the back of my mind. I have been eying this set for some time now. The excitement is killing me! Any day now, my set will be here. I don’t know that I have ever been this excited to receive scripture. The set is called Illuminated Scripture Journals and it is in the ESV translation. By clicking on the link below, you can see all the beautiful colors of the bound books. Inside, you will see that the scripture is in a LARGER text point. I say this specifically because it is easy on the eyes. I wear a strong prescription and still need readers. Yay for getting older. Ha! The larger text will definitely be a necessity for my eyes so there is less strain. Scripture is on one side and the adjacent page is blank with just a light dot aligned for either taking notes or paragraph writing. The cool thing is that the dots are light enough so if you are gifted in art, you can draw or paint your thoughts on that page. The pages are thicker so bleeding through is not a worry if using paint or markers.

My hunger for the Word of God has increased as I have grown in my faith. The true “die-hard” studying has increased significantly over the last 10 years, but I have a strong desire for my kids to gravitate toward actually reading and learning scripture. It is my hope that they can see my actions of studying the Bible daily. In our home, we do teenage Bible lessons, but the goal would be for them to learn how to do a Bible study lesson on their own. I posted the complete set so you can see all the colors together, but the set can be purchased as individual books of the Bible or as a set of the Old Testament / New Testament. I put some examples below. As you can see, the complete set is the best value, but I also know that can be overwhelming looking at all the books at one time. Most individual books have an average price range of $3.99-6.99.

The goal for this post was to show you an amazing set of bound scripture that is full of color, appealing to the eye, and is heavily discounted right now, but also to show you that I am studying right along with you. God’s Word is true YESTERDAY, TODAY, and TOMORROW! You can go to Facebook and see the Faith-Flair-Fitness page here. Join the movement of digging in deep with what God wants to show you in this season of your life. If you have teens, I encourage you to have them take a look at this set. My 11 year old is the artist in our family and thought it was a great idea to draw her thoughts as she reads the Bible. At the time of this post, I have not bought her own set yet, but she will watch me and see how cool it is for her to use her gift of drawing to learn scripture and then to take what she has learned to spread God’s Word to her friends. That is why I love that the books can be bought in sets or as individual books. It fits any budget! For me, it is all about having a guide for daily scripture and prayer and then planting seeds of God in my kids.

I hope this post has blessed you today. I love finding great resources and sharing them with you. I look forward to you chiming in on our Facebook page. Faith-Flair-Fitness is here to help you grow in God’s Word and His goodness.

Look for a way to bless others today,

xoxo – Allison
